Anne-Marie Lacey (nee Bailey) is a Chartered PR Practitioner. She’s often thought of as a bit of a mover and shaker when it comes to PR and communications, and heads up all client-facing work at Filament PR.

Once described by Stephen Waddington, a past President of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations as a ‘leading light’, Anne-Marie has gained a reputation across the UK as an exceptional communicator.

In her time, she has worked with clients on both B2B and B2C campaigns, from small start-ups to international household brands.  Regardless of shape, size or sector, Anne-Marie is committed to getting the very best results – adding value to her clients and producing tangible business benefits.

Over the years, Anne-Marie's work has won many awards including ‘gold’ at both the CIPR North East and North West PRide Awards.  In 2014, she also won the prestigious title of 'Outstanding Young Communicator' at the regional CIPR North East PRide Awards, and most recently, won the title again at the national CIPR Excellence Awards.

Away from the office, Anne-Marie is an active Member of the CIPR as well as Chair of the North East regional group.  She also completes annual CPD appraisals to retain her Chartered Practitioner status, meaning her clients can be safe in the knowledge that she is always one step ahead of the curve when it comes to the latest tools, trends and techniques, passing this benefit of best practise back on to her clients.

She is also an Academic Tutor at the University of Sunderland and dissertation supervisor at Newcastle University, helping to shape the PR superstars of the future.
